Alcossebre (Spain) is a holiday town of about 2,000 residents on the Costa del Azahar, in the province of Castellón (Valencia region), between Valencia, about 120 km away, and Barcelona, about 240 km away. It has more than 10 km of coastline, Blue Flag beaches and, to the north, the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, one of the last unspoilt mountain ranges on the Valencian coast. On maps it also appears as Alcocéber or Alcocebre: it's the same place, the coastal part of the municipality of Alcalà de Xivert.
This website is for visitors from abroad looking for a holiday apartment in Alcossebre who want answers to the practical questions: how to get there, whether you need a car, where to do your shopping and when the market is on.
